Soft and sturdy, delicious and real! Great for sandwiches and toast!
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast 3½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup warm water (105 degrees F/41 degrees
3 TBSP sugar
2 large eggs
3 TBSP butter, melted
1 ¼ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon olive oil

Egg wash:
1 egg
1 TBSP milk
Directions
Add water and sugar in a stand alone mixer or a big bowl.
Sprinkle yeast on top. When yeast is foamy, slowly add some flour until it begins to thicken. You may not need sll of the flour.
Add 2 eggs, melted butter, and salt. Knead by hand or with dough hook until dough begins to firm, add more flour if necessary but dont mskevit too dry.
Add olive oil while kneading to keep from sticking to the bowl.
Rub oil over thevtop of dough, cover and let rise until double in size one hour.
Preheat oven to 375O
Once bread dough has risen, grease and bread pan. Flour a clean surface and roll fought to a large rectangle. Tightly roll up the dough and tuck ends in.
Make the loaf the length of the bread pan. Place in pan and cover and let rise and hour.
Once risen, beat eggs and milk in a small bowl. Gently cut a line across the top of thd bread lengthwise with a very sharp knife.
Gently add egg wash over the top of loaf with a basting brush.
Sprinkle with kosher salt for extra flavor.
Bake 25 minutes until golden.Remove from oven and let cool a bit.
Remove from oven and place on cooling rack.
Slice and serve when cooled. Store in a plastic bag in a pantry until use
